Prof. Yung-Hui Lireceived the B.S. degree from the Department of Electrical Engineering, National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan, in 1995, the M.S. degree from the Department of Computer and Information Science, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA, USA, in 1998, and the Ph.D. degree from the Lanague Technology Institute, School of Computer Science, Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, PA, in 2010.

He is currently an Assistant Professor with the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering, National Central University, Taoyuan, Taiwan. His current research interests include AI and deep-learning and its application related to biometric recognition (face and iris), biomedical image and signal processing, and industrial 4.0. Other interests include: computer vision; pattern recognition; and machine learning.
